An Archive Meant to Be Researched
The UFO and UAP community has spent decades asking governments, institutions, researchers, and organizations for greater access to historical records. The International UFO Bureau believes its own archive should be open to that same examination.
Published Hayden C. Hewes Archive files are available for public research. Visitors are encouraged to read the documents, follow the correspondence, compare records with other sources, cite material in their own work, question what they find, and reach their own conclusions.
This is not a finished collection. The archive will continue to grow as additional records are preserved, digitized, transcribed, cataloged, reviewed, and prepared for release.

The Archive Founder
1943–2017
Hewes spent much of his life documenting questions that remained unresolved. He investigated cases, corresponded across institutions and borders, preserved source material, and built the organization that became the International UFO Bureau.
Today, preserving his archive is only one part of continuing that work. Historical records provide context for the questions being asked now, while new UFO and UAP reports add another chapter to a record that began more than six decades ago.
