The International UFO Bureau Announces Formation of Advisory Board with Dan Harary and Jamelle Holieway as Inaugural Members
Oklahoma City, OK — The International UFO Bureau has announced the formation of its new Advisory Board and the appointment of its inaugural members, veteran Hollywood publicist and UFO author Dan Harary and legendary Oklahoma quarterback Jamelle Holieway. The Advisory Board will help guide the Bureau’s expanding efforts in public education, media engagement, and responsible communication surrounding UFO and UAP research.
The Advisory Board brings together respected voices from different fields who can help bridge serious research with public understanding. As the International UFO Bureau continues to grow as a national nonprofit research organization, the board will provide strategic insight into outreach, partnerships, and the responsible presentation of complex information about the UFO phenomenon.
Dan Harary brings more than four decades of experience in the entertainment and media industries. A longtime Hollywood publicist and founder of the Asbury PR Agency in Beverly Hills, Harary has represented numerous film, television, and live event projects throughout his career. In addition to his work in entertainment publicity, he is widely known in the UFO and paranormal communities as the author of several books, including Flirting with Fame, After They Came, My Paranormal Life, and FIVE. Harary is also the founder of Wow! Signal News, a publication dedicated to thoughtful coverage of UFO developments, serves as chair and cofounder of the Hollywood Disclosure Alliance, an organization that encourages responsible storytelling about the UFO phenomenon within the entertainment industry. His extensive experience in media strategy and public communication will help the Bureau expand its ability to share credible research with wider audiences.
Jamelle Holieway is one of the most celebrated quarterbacks in Oklahoma football history. As a true freshman at the University of Oklahoma, Holieway led the Sooners to the 1985 national championship, becoming the first true freshman quarterback ever to guide his team to a national title. Known for his leadership, resilience, and dynamic play in the wishbone offense under legendary coach Barry Switzer, Holieway remains an iconic figure in Oklahoma athletics. In recent years, he has also developed a strong personal interest in the UFO phenomenon and the broader questions it raises about our understanding of the world around us. Today, he continues to mentor young athletes and contribute to community initiatives throughout the region. His presence on the Advisory Board reflects both his personal curiosity about the subject and the Bureau’s commitment to building trusted relationships with the communities it serves.
“We are honored to welcome Dan Harary and Jamelle Holieway as the inaugural members of our Advisory Board,” said Founder and CEO Mindy Tautfest. “For decades, the UFO topic has been dismissed and ridiculed, yet the evidence has continued to grow. If we want this subject to be taken seriously across the nation, we must build an institution that the public can rely on. Advisors like Dan and Jamelle help strengthen that foundation by bringing leadership, communication expertise, and community trust to our mission.”
As the Advisory Board expands, its members will support the International UFO Bureau in shaping public-facing initiatives, strengthening media partnerships, and helping ensure that research and historical documentation are communicated with clarity and responsibility. Their perspectives will complement the Bureau’s investigative and archival work while helping connect its mission with broader audiences.
